Patna, April 24 -- Amid a noisy walkout by the opposition, the Bihar Assembly today passed a condemnation motion against the opposition for obstructing the passage of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam in Parliament.
Soon after the Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary secured a trust vote, the Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary moved the condemnation motion, accusing opposition parties of blocking the women's reservation legislation due to what he described as an "anti-women mindset."The motion triggered sharp protests from opposition members.
