Patna, July 23 -- Bihar Assembly was adjourned on Thursday without taking up the enlisted businesses for the day following an uproar and scuffle between the ruling and opposition members that erupted over the issue of an attack on some of the legislators and a police lathi charge on the protesting students.
As the house assembled for the day, the opposition members, waving posters, vociferously raised the issue of a police lathi charge resorted to upon the students during their protest in the state capital yesterday. The entire opposition raised slogans against the government and created noise.
