Tirumala, June 17 -- : In a major boost to its efforts to promote Sanatana Dharma and spread the glory of Lord Venkateswara across the country, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has received 15 acres of land from the Bihar government for the construction of a Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple near Patna.
The proposed temple will come up on the banks of the River Ganga, close to Bihar's capital city and adjacent to a National Highway, providing easy access to devotees, TTD said in a release here on Wednesday.
TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu met Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and expressed gratitude for the allocation of land.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister was felicitated with a shawl and presented with a Srivari memento.
