Patna, June 7 -- The Bihar government has strengthened its support system for women facing violence or distress through the 24x7 toll-free 181 Women Helpline, a dedicated service designed to provide immediate assistance and access to essential support services.
Operated by the Women and Child Development Corporation under the Social Welfare Department, the helpline serves as a single-point contact for women seeking help in cases of domestic violence, physical and mental abuse, dowry harassment, dowry-related deaths, molestation, sexual harassment, human trafficking and other forms of violence.
