Bhagalpur, May 31 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today directed officials to complete arrangements for the world-famous Shravani Mela in a time-bound and quality manner, with special emphasis on the safety, security and convenience of devotees.
Chairing a review meeting at the Bhagalpur Collectorate, Choudhary said providing better facilities and a secure environment for pilgrims would remain the government''s top priority. He noted that lakhs of devotees from across India and abroad visit the annual pilgrimage and instructed officials to ensure adequate deployment of police personnel and medical teams throughout the mela area.
