Madhubani, Aug. 11 -- Family members of a prisoner who died during treatment at Sadar Hospital in Madhubani district today created a ruckus at the hospital, alleging foul play in his death.
Official sources said here that the deceased was identified as Roshan Yadav, a resident of Brahmotra village under Arer police station. He had been lodged in the Mandal Jail at Rampatti for around two months after being arrested by Rahika police in an Arms Act case.
Meanwhile, the deceased's sister alleged that some influential people in the village had falsely implicated her brother in a fabricated case and got him jailed. She said police informed the family that Roshan had died during treatment at Sadar Hospital.
