Patna, May 31 -- The Bihar government today suspended two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers Abhilasha Sharma and Yogesh Kumar Sagar, with immediate effect under various charges of corruption.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, the suspension was ordered on the basis of the report submitted by the Special Vigilance Unit (SVU), enforcement-related records, statements and other evidence indicating alleged acceptance of bribes, commissions and undue financial benefits.
Yogesh Kumar Sagar (2017 batch), who is currently serving as Director in the Social Welfare Department, had earlier served as Managing Director of the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (BUIDCO). Abhil...
