Patna, July 30 -- With 33.57 % of the total 379,616 electorate exercising their franchise till 5:00 pm, the polling for the by elections in Bankipur assembly constituency ended peacefully here At 6:00 pm.
With this, the political fate of 25 candidates prominently comprising Neeraj Kumar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Prashant Kishor of Jan Suraaj and Rekha Gupta of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) was sealed in the EVMsSources of Office of Chief Electoral Officer(CEO) said here that the electorates exercised their franchise amid tight security arrangements and no untoward incident was reported during the voting.
