Patna, June 19 -- Bihar has taken a significant step towards accelerating industrial development, with the Project Clearance Committee (PCC) of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) approving 30 new industrial projects across the state.
Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh said here today that the approved projects are expected to attract investments worth approximately Rs 627.83 crore and generate employment opportunities for more than 3,329 people. A total of 26.59 acres of land has been allotted for the projects.
The projects will be established in various industrial areas and industrial growth centres across the state, including Sikandarpur, Maranga, Dumaria, EPIP Hajipur, MIP Bihta and Muzaffarpur, among others.
