Siliguri, Aug. 11 -- Bhutan has opened Samrang in Assam's Udalguri district as an additional entry and exit point for the country's bilateral and third-country trade, according to a notification issued by Bhutan's Department of Trade on Tuesday.
The Department of Trade, under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment, said the Government of India has notified the Land Customs Station (LCS) at Samrang for trade movement between the two countries.
The authorised route will connect Samrang in India with Samrang in Bhutan through the Rangia-Tamulpur-Dimakuchi motorable road.
