Mumbai, Aug. 25 -- Following an accident during the arrival ceremony of Bhuleshwar Raja's idol, the 22-foot-tall statue created by the sculptor has reportedly gone missing, prompting police to intensify their investigation into the incident.
As part of the investigation, the police are searching for sculptor Aniket Chandrakant Desai to question him about the construction and welding of the massive idol. Investigators are particularly trying to ascertain the nature of a welding problem that reportedly surfaced even before the idol reached the venue.
