New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 30 -- Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy urged the Centre to provide financial assistance under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme for key sewage infrastructure projects in Hyderabad during the 22nd meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Urban Affairs on Thursday.
The meeting, chaired by Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, approved the draft report on "Review of Sewage and Septage Management in Cities under AMRUT & AMRUT 2.0."During the discussions, Kiran Kumar Reddy highlighted the need to strengthen Hyderabad's sewerage network to meet the city's growing urban requirements.
