New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- Olympian C.A. Bhavani Devi will lead India's 20-member fencing contingent at the upcoming Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, with the Fencing Association of India (FAI) announcing the squad.
The team was selected on the basis of national rankings and performances at major international events in 2026, including the Asian Senior Fencing Championships, World Fencing Championships and Commonwealth Fencing Championships.
The selected fencers will assemble at the Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports (NIS) in Patiala for a preparatory camp from September 1 to 15. The Indian contingent will leave forAichi-Nagoya on September 16 to get acclimatised ahead of the competition.
