Patna, Aug. 13 -- Based on the interim report of the judicial inquiry into the fatal police encounter involving 28-year-old social media activist Bharat Bhushan Tiwari in Bilauti village of Bihar's Bhojpur district on June 17, the Bihar government has decided to provide a government job to one member of the deceased's family and financial assistance to the family.
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced the decision in a message posted on social media platform X on Thursday.
"Based on the interim report of the judicial inquiry, the Bihar government will provide financial assistance to the family of the late Bharat Tiwari and a government job to one of his family members," he said.
