Hyderabad, March 5 -- NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited (NBBL), a wholly owned subsidiary of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), on Thursday said its Bharat Connect platform is witnessing strong adoption of its e-challan payment category in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana since the feature was rolled out in October 2025.
In a release, the company stated that the Andhra Pradesh Traffic Police has recorded more than 4.5 lakh e-challan transactions, while over 1.3 lakh transactions have been processed by theTelangana Traffic Police through the platform.
In February 2026 alone, Andhra Pradesh recorded 1,02,096 transactions, while Telangana registered 22,882 transactions, reflecting growing adoption of digital payments for traffic penalties....
