Varanasi, July 29 -- Taking aim at the Samajwadi Party (SP) during the "Samrasata Sankalp Sabha" organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Sadguru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya announced that Bhadohi district would soon be renamed Sant Ravidas Nagar.
Maurya said that the Samajwadi Party government had changed the name of Sant Ravidas Nagar to Bhadohi, but the present state government would restore its name to Sant Ravidas Nagar.
