Bengaluru, Sept. 3 -- Bengaluru's emerging junior tennis talent was in the spotlight at the KSLTA World Tennis Tour Junior J30 Bengaluru, with local girl Aahida Singh delivering the biggest result of the day by knocking out third seed and citymate Disha Kumar 6-4, 6-4 to storm into the girls' singles semifinals.

In an absorbing all-Bengaluru quarterfinal, fifth-seeded Aahida showed composure when it mattered most, overcoming Disha's spirited challenge to win both sets by the same 6-4 margin.

The victory underlined the growing depth of junior tennis in Bengaluru, with local players making a strong impression across both singles draws as the tournament entered its decisive stage.
