Bengaluru, May 20 -- A special NIA court in Bengaluru has sentenced a Taliban-linked terror operative to seven years of rigorous imprisonment for recruiting and radicalising youths for terror activities, according to officials.
The convict was found guilty under various provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for his role in motivating and recruiting vulnerable youths to join extremist activities linked to banned terror organisations.
