Kolkata, June 15 -- Former state food minister and Trinamool Congress MLA Rathin Ghosh appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here on Monday as the central agency intensified its probe into alleged irregularities in recruitment to government schools and municipalities in Bengal.
The Madhyamgram MLA Ghosh was questioned in the municipality recruitment case. He left the ED office after several hours of questioning. Agency officials did not disclose details of the interrogation, but sources said investigators sought clarifications on aspects linked to municipal recruitments that have come under scrutiny over alleged procedural violations and financial irregularities.
