Kolkata, May 27 -- Application forms for the West Bengal government's new monthly financial grant scheme for women - Annapurna Yojana - would be released across the state on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is scheduled to kick start the process from the state secretariat Nabanna at 4-30 pm.

Adhikari announced on Tuesday that the forms would be rolled out from Wednesday.

The announcement came after an administrative review meeting in Nadia district's Kalyani, about 50 kilometres from Kolkata.

Addressing reporters, Adhikari said the process of converting the existing Lakshmir Bhandar scheme into Annapurna Yojana and integrating Swasthya Sathi with Ayushman Bharat had already begun.
