Kolkata, June 25 -- Bengal Police arrested five people, including the warehouse owner Shambhunath Behera, in connection with the Taratala warehouse collapse that has claimed eight lives and left 20 others injured.
According to police sources, Behera was arrested from a residential complex in the Taratala area around midnight on Wednesday.
Police have registered a suo motu case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against Behera.
Earlier, around nine people, including the warehouse supervisor, had been detained and questioned at Taratala Police Station.
Subsequently, five people, including Behera, were arrested in connection with the incident.
