Kolkata, June 25 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari came down heavily on the previous Trinamool Congress government in the state, alleging that the Taratala under-construction godown that collapsed on Wednesday, claiming nine lives, was sanctioned by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation against money.
Addressing the Assembly on Thursday, the chief minister blamed the previous administration for allowing alleged corruption in the approval process of building plans and held it responsible for the tragedy.
