New Delhi, Feb. 24 -- In a significant relaxation of its February 20 order, the Supreme Court on Tuesday permitted the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court to additionally deploy Civil Judges (Senior and Junior Division) with at least three years' experience to adjudicate claims and objections relating to voters in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal.
