Chandrima Bhattacharya and Ghosh alleged that two BJP leaders had distributed cash among the voters in Jhargram. " The BJP does not work and tries to purchase the voters," they said.A car containing cash worth Rs 16 lakhs was intercepted in Sobhabazar. " Where did such huge cash come from?" Bhattacharya asked, adding "cars carrying cash were intercepted in Alipurduar and other places in north Bengal".The leaders criticised Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for his silence on the statement made by a Pakistani minister that the country will attack Kolkata in the event of a military confrontation with India.
