Kolkata, July 29 -- West Bengal Urban Development Minister Agnimitra Paul on Wednesday said the state government is exploring building elevated corridors in key urban areas to address future traffic congestion, keeping in mind the projected rise in population and vehicular movement over the next five decades.
Paul said the government was taking a long-term view of infrastructure development and would plan projects considering the expected increase in the number of vehicles and pressure on existing roads.
