Kolkata, May 11 -- The newly formed BJP government in West Bengal on Monday announced a series of administrative, security and welfare-related measures, including land transfer to the Border Security Force (BSF) for barbed-wire fencing along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

The government also gave the nod to implement various Central social welfare programmes, including the Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yoja (AB PM-JAY), at its first Cabinet meeting"At our very first Cabinet meeting today, we have decided to transfer the land to the BSF (Border Security Force) for installing barbed wire fencing on the border..
