Tarapith, Sept. 4 -- In a major push towards digitisation, the Tarapith Temple Committee has announced the complete transition of its priority darshan system to a digital platform.
Starting this Sunday, the existing Rs 500 paper coupons for the VIP queue will be discontinued and replaced entirely by a mobile application-based booking system.
The decision was taken during a high-level joint meeting attended by Rampurhat MLA Dhruv Saha, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ashwin Babusingh Rathore and key members of the Tarapith Temple Committee, including its president and secretary.
