Tarapith, Sept. 8 -- As the auspicious Kaushiki Amavasya festival approaches on September 10, the pilgrimage town of Tarapith and its surrounding corridors in Birbhum district are being transformed into a spectacle of lights, gearing up to welcome hundreds of thousands of devotees from across West Bengal and the nation.

"Among the primary highlights of this year's festival, the Tarapith Temple Committee, in collaboration with the local administration, has announced the revival of the daily Sandhya Aarti (evening prayer ritual) along the banks of the Dwarka River.
