Kolkata, Sept. 30 -- The West Bengal government on Wednesday formed a six-member Special Investigation Team (SIT), headed by Additional Commissioner of Kolkata Police (Crime) Kunal Agarwal, to probe the recent violence at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI).
The order issued by Home Secretary Sanghamitra Ghosh stated that the SIT includes Sparsha Nilangi, Deputy Commissioner (Detective Department), Kolkata Police; Kaushik Ghosh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID; and Salil Roy, Assistant Commissioner, Anti-Rowdy Section, Kolkata Police. Tusharkanti Ghosh, Assistant Commissioner, Eastern Suburban Division, and Hirak Dalapati, Inspector, Detective Department, are also part of the team.
