Siliguri, Oct. 9 -- General Manager of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, has conducted a safety inspection of Alipurduar Division. Divisional Railway Manager Devendra Singh and senior railway officials accompanied him.
The inspection focused on operational safety, maintenance infrastructure and staff training. During a window trailing inspection on October 7 from New Bongaigaon to Alipurduar Junction, Shrivastava examined railway tracks, bridges, overhead electrical installations and other assets. The inspection was aimed at assessing their condition and identifying maintenance needs.
