Kolkata, Aug. 21 -- Hosiery and innerwear maker Lux Industries on Friday sent a legal notice to Trinamool Congress MLA Kunal Ghosh, seeking an "unconditional written and public apology" for making "false and defamatory statements" related to the company's proposed Rs 600-crore project envisaging an increased manufacturing capacity in its Dankuni plant.
The notice, issued through advocate Piyush Agrawal, referred to Ghosh's comments at a press conference uploaded on a YouTube video as also an X post on Thursday where the TMC leader raised questions about the project for which the foundation stone laying ceremony and bhoomi pujan was held on July 11 in the presence of Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari.
