Hooghly, Aug. 28 -- The deaths of three members of a family at their home in West Bengal's Dhaniakhali village in Hoogly district have left the locality shocked, with police detaining four people as part of their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The deceased were identified as Uttam Chai (52), his wife Rupa Chai (45) and their 17-year-old daughter Ankita Chai. The family, originally from Dankuni, had shifted to a rented house at Somaspur Dulepara in Dhaniakhali around four months ago.
