Asansol, May 29 -- A case of alleged extortion has been lodged at a West Bengal police station against local Trinamool Congress leader and Block Vice-President Bhola Singh, along with his three other associates Vineet Singh, Amit Singh, and Akhilesh Prasad.
The incident has created a huge political stir.
Bhola Singh is a close associate of Asansol Municipal Corporation (AMC) mayor and former MLA of Barabani, Bidhan Upadhyay and used to supervise his MLA LAD and other related works inRupnarayanpur area.
As former MLA, Bidhan Upadhyay stays in a posh Asansol locality, his three associates - Bhola Singh, Asit Singh and Mukul Upadhyay - used to allegedly look after the areas on behalf of him since the past ten years.
