Kolkata, June 15 -- Senior BJP leader and West Bengal Panchayat Minister Dilip Ghosh on Monday accused Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee of failing to cooperate with investigating agencies and warned that the courts would take a serious view if he obstructed the ongoing probes.

Speaking to reporters during his morning walk, Ghosh alleged that the Trinamool leader had repeatedly ignored legal directives and was now seeking judicial protection to avoid scrutiny.

"For a long time, he did not comply with court directives. Now he is approaching the courts for protection. He may have received temporary relief, but if he does not cooperate with the investigation, the court will not show leniency," Ghosh said.
