Burdwan, Sept. 10 -- Authorities have suspended classes at Burdwan University's University Institute of Technology (UIT) engineering college following persistent clashes between two groups of students. The students also allegedly vandalised the college principal's chamber last night.
During the clash, several students allegedly barged into the principal's chamber and ransacked the furniture, breaking chairs and tables and smashing flower vases. The incident triggered panic among students and faculty members on the campus.
