Siliguri, Sept. 13 -- Alert personnel of the 71 Battalion BSF under the Malda Sector Headquarters rescued 10 Bangladeshi nationals, including three children, three women and four men, after their boat capsized in the Ganga near the Khandua Border Outpost in West Bengal's Malda district, sources said on Sunday.

According to the Malda Sector BSF, all 10 persons, residents of Chapai in Bangladesh, were spotted struggling in the river after the boat capsized on Saturday afternoon. The BSF personnel immediately launched a rescue operation and brought them to safety.
