Kolkata, May 19 -- The Bengal Chemists & Druggists Association (BCDA), on Tuesday decided to support the proposed 24-hour all India strike called by its national body on May 20 in protest against flourishing of illegal online E-Pharmacy, fake counterfeit drug and unhealthy illegal price competition by offering deep discounts.
However, while addressing the media here, BCDA officials expressed serious concern over the rapid proliferation of illegal online e-pharmacies, describing them as a growing threat to public health in both West Bengal and across India.
