New Delhi, July 18 -- The BCCI has dismissed speculation that Sunday's third ODI against England at Lord's will be Rohit Sharma's final international match, with board secretary Devajit Saikia saying there has been no discussion about the veteran opener retiring.

"There are lot of speculations going on in media about Rohit Sharma's future. I want to firmly assert that there has been no such discussion that Rohit will be playing his last match at Lord's on Sunday," Saikia said in a statement to the media.

While Saikia did not comment on Rohit's long-term future, he made it clear that the 39-year-old remains part of India's ODI plans.
