New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- The BCCI is looking to build more breathing room into India's international calendar, with its operations team set to attend a Future Tours Programme (FTP) workshop in Dubai later this month to discuss the 2027-31 cycle.

The move comes after a series of injuries to Indian players and growing concerns over the workload created by packed international and franchise schedules.

The FTP workshop is scheduled for September 22 and 23, according to a Cricbuzz report.

Operations teams from cricket boards around the world are expected to attend, while representatives from the top eight Associate nations have also been invited.
