Hyderabad, June 20 -- Telangana BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday said BC Welfare hostels recorded an impressive 96.05 per cent pass rate in the SSC examinations for 2025-26, surpassing the state average of 95.15 per cent.

Reviewing the department's performance at Praja Bhavan, the Minister said 4,746 of the 4,941 students who appeared for the examinations passed, while 285 hostels achieved 100 per cent results and 641 students secured over 500 marks.

He directed officials to improve academic standards further through special coaching, mentoring and model examinations.
