Visakhapatnam, July 3 -- District Collector M. Abhishek Kishore on Friday said the proposed Bay City Project would play a key role in the development of the Visakhapatnam Economic Region (VER) and directed officials to prepare a comprehensive action plan for its implementation.
Reviewing the project's progress at the Collectorate, the Collector assessed the proposed development plans, infrastructure requirements and studies related to the prestigious project.
Officials made a presentation on the Area Development Plan, catalytic projects, spatial studies, land profiling and the proposed demarcation of the Bay City limits.
According to officials, the project will cover 13 villages spread across 51.88 sq. km.
