Chandigarh, June 11 -- : The Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department has seized 140 quintals of allegedly illegal fertiliser during a raid in Bathinda as part of the state government's ongoing crackdown on counterfeit and unauthorised agricultural products.
Officials said the action was carried out following specific inputs regarding suspicious activities at a warehouse located in Ganpati Complex on Malout Road in Bathinda. During the inspection, authorities found that fertilisers were allegedly being sold without the mandatory licence required under the law.
