Bareilly, April 2 -- In a significant move to bolster the urban healthcare infrastructure of Bareilly, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Vishram Singh distributed appointment letters to 77 newly recruited Urban ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers on Thursday.

The induction ceremony, held at the CMO office, marks a major step toward the "Healthy Bareilly" initiative.

With these new appointments, the total strength of ASHA workers in Bareilly's urban pockets has risen from 452 to 529, ensuring better penetration of government health schemes at the grassroots level.
