New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh on Wednesday said the traffic congestion on Barapullah Phase- lll has brought to the fore the serious questions regarding its planning, design and execution which was done during the previous AAP regime.
The traffic situation since its inauguration has exposed critical issues at the points where multiple traffic streams converge, he said, adding that if the vision of the previous government had been broader and future looking, such issues would not exist.
He informed that the project was approved in 2014 and construction commenced in April 2015, with an original target of completion in 2017, but it was delayed for several years.
