Ranchi, June 12 -- : A delegation of the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) met Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Friday and sought intervention in alleged irregularities in the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT), Chaibasa, besides pressing for forest rights pattas for eligible residents of the Saranda forest region.

The delegation, led by BAP West Singhbhum district president Sushil Barla, submitted a memorandum at Raj Bhavan seeking a high-level probe into the functioning of the DMFT in West Singhbhum and implementation of the Forest Rights Act, 2006.
