Bankura, Oct. 21 -- Accused Mongal Chowdhury, arrested for allegedly hacking his wife and father to death in the name of black magic ritual (Tantra Sadhana), was shifted to Bankura Medical College Hospital by police today.
The incident took place on Tuesday night during Sandhi Puja of Durga Puja's Astomi at Lalbaba Mana char (a barh on river coarse) on the Damodar riverbed adjacent to Kanksa in East Burdwan. The area however falls within the command of Sonamukhi PS area of Bankura.
