Patna, July 11 -- After BJP candidate Abhishek Kumar 'Bunty' withdrew his nomination from the Bankipur Assembly bypoll, his father, Ravindra Prasad, alleged that a conspiracy had been hatched against his son.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Ravindra Prasad said, "Abhishek decided to withdraw after he came to know that his parents' names were being linked to the fodder scam, and that is indeed the case. He has been a dedicated party worker. By withdrawing from the election, he made an attempt to protect the reputation of both his family and the BJP."He said the CBI had completed its investigation into the fodder scam case and that the trial had concluded.
