Dubai, Sept. 1 -- Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana Joty wants her side to build on their first-up victory over Indonesia when they take on Sri Lanka in their next clash at the Asia Cup.
Bangladesh commenced their Asia Cup campaign in style with a dominant 71-run victory over Indonesia at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday, but Sultana Joty has challenged her side to improve on that effort when they face reigning champions Sri Lanka at the same venue on Sunday.
Sultana Joty suggested prior to the tournament that Bangladesh were aiming to finish on top of their group to give themselves the best chance of reaching the Asia Cup final and a victory overSri Lanka will be crucial to their fortunes if they are to achieve that goal.
