Dhaka, July 20 -- Bangladesh is facing its first reported enforced disappearance case since the July 2024 uprising, triggering renewed concerns over whether security forces are returning to practices that became widespread under the previous government.
The disappearance of 30-year-old fisherman Miraj Sheikh has raised fresh concerns about the return of enforced disappearances in Bangladesh.
