Kolkata, May 22 -- Bangla Pokkho founder Garga Chatterjee was granted conditional bail by the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court here on Friday, bringing relief after a 10-day legal battle.
He had earlier received bail in a case registered at Maidan Police Station and now he has also been granted bail in the cyber police station case, clearing the way for his release.
Chatterjee who has been granted a bail on a bond of Rs 2,000 is expected to get out of the prison soon.
However the court directed Chatterjee to meet the investigating officer once every week and cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation.
